Živilė mainly focuses on general commercial law, real estate transaction and regulatory issues, such as the regulation of advanced therapy medicinal products in the European Union, the licencing of pharmaceutical activities, and the use of biotechnology in healthcare. As an associate, she becomes an equal member of the client’s business development team and helps with the corporate and commercial law issues that companies face in their day-to-day operations. Živilė prepares internal company documents, and participates and assists in negotiations on business contracts, from distribution and developing and bringing medical devices to market, to international contracts on pharmaceutical contract manufacturing. She also has experience in the implementation of company acquisition transactions, and participates in working groups when non-EU countries prepare legislative amendments regarding the possibility of using advanced therapy medicinal products in their markets.
